After the issues with the
buckled frame, even though it was all level and square I was
still wondering whether or not to Replace them completely, well, I did,
and I found that the
replacement frames came with an aluminium motor mounting bracket, with
mine being
plastic, I was under the thinking that with it being plastic allowed
more possibility of the frame
bending again, due to there being more give in the plastic base.
I also needed to change the main shaft, feathering
shaft, so while doing the strip down
decided to upgrade the head to CNC.
Pics of frame sides, motor mount and CNC head are
below.
Also just a Note, where
you see the front part of the frame, where it connects to the bottom
box section, those two holes on the underside were not counter sunk to
accommodate
the two raised location bumps on the box section, so had to counter sink
them myself.
At the moment, I am slightly annoyed at the quality of
walkera spare parts.

Once that was sorted, time for the head to go on,
baring in mind that the CNC upgrade
comes pre assembled and also assembled wrong, in other words, It works
opposite to
the plastic Stock head, so the blade grips and the Blade grip Link arms
have to be reversed
by 180 degrees, to make it work so it does Positive pitch on throttle
up.
First pic is as came, 2nd pic after reversal.

Once it was like the above 2nd Pic, all was fine :)
further Pics of CNC head, should be good for anyones
